When we set out to build our virtual team here at Dion Design Group, we knew it wouldn’t be an easy task. Our success as a virtual agency depends on the strength of our team. CHERI DION

Owner / Creative Director

With over 22 years of experience in retail marketing, design, store planning and operations management and 20+ years as a graphic designer, Cheri has worked for major corporations such as Warner Bros., Macy’s (formerly known as May Department Stores) The Gap, Timberland and Neiman-Marcus. She directed national in-store launches for Nike, Polo Jeans, DKNY, Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger, Dockers, “W” by Wonderbra, JLO Jewelry, Petsmart.com and many others. While at Warner Brothers International Studio Stores, Cheri provided visual direction, creative direction and support for all international franchise operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Guam, Saipan, Taiwan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Spain and Mexico. At Store of Knowledge, a 200-store chain, Cheri was responsible for the overall creative direction of the company including in-store marketing, point-of-purchase collateral, window displays, visual and merchandise presentation, store remodels and fixture design, website design, private-label product and packaging design. She also organized partnerships and co-op advertising and marketing efforts with PBS on behalf of Store of Knowledge.

At Dion Design Group, Cheri leads and oversees the creative direction and design for all projects that are produced through the virtual agency.

No matter what size business you own, regardless if we are building an entire custom, multi-functional website or a logo design, job one for the team at DDG is clear communication and accessibility. We want each of our clients to have a full understanding of what we do and how we do it. This way, our clients will know exactly what we are planning; executing and delivering…step by step.

Here’s how we achieve this:

The first step in the process entails an initial consultation to discuss your needs and discover how we can help your business grow, both on and offline. After we understand clearly what your core business goals are, we will then begin to discuss a marketing strategy. If you decide that Dion Design Group and the services we offer are a good fit for your marketing needs, a design interview with our Creative Director will be scheduled.

The design interview is the most important of the multi-tiered process. This is when we find out how you want to be “seen” from a digital marketing perspective. We will explore your business’s personality and style as well as what message you want your business conveying to the world. We will walk you through a detailed design questionnaire that will enable us to compile a “creative brief.” If we decide to move forward, we will set timelines for milestone completions and discuss your budget and the pricing of our services.

The next step is the Formal Proposal. We make it easy and straightforward. The proposal will list the Statement of Work, Deliverables, Professional Fees and Delivery Date. When you accept the proposal, we will collect a deposit and begin work.

During the project phase, periodic communications will be necessary to ensure that you are never in the dark as to our progress. We will have questions as well. Again, communication and accessibility are paramount.

Upon completion of the project, we will have a final consultation to ensure that you are completely satisfied. Once you have “Signed Off” on the projects’ completion, an invoice will be presented and the balance of the fees due will be collected.

The entire process is easy and efficient! This level of communication and accessibility ensures that your needs are always addressed by including you every step of the way. We will achieve the ultimate goal, which is a marketing strategy that improves your visibility and web presence that will increase your profits.
